Position Title: Web and Mobile Marketing Specialist/Coordinator

SECTION II: Position Description Summary
The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is seeking a Web and Mobile Marketing Specialist/Coordinator to join the Marketing Team. Key responsibilities will focus on web content, reviewing and editing materials prior to posting, and ensuring that the website is user-friendly and accurate. NAEYC is a professional membership non-profit organization with 90+ employees across the US, maintains a fast-paced, innovative environment deeply focused on vision, mission, values and beliefs, and work to promote high-quality early learning for all young children, birth through age 8, by connecting early childhood practice, policy, and research. NAEYC advances a diverse, dynamic early childhood profession and supports all who care for, educate, and work on behalf of young children.
SECTION III: Duties and Responsibilities

· Review, edit and proofread new web content to optimize content impact to achieve the website goals and objectives · Evaluate content for accuracy, quality, and accessibility for user-friendly and ease of navigation · Coordinate content creation to maintain consistency in presence and messaging · Develop content strategies to improve user experience · Research trends and analyze web content; monitor web analytics and make improvements | 50% |
· Collaborate with Marketing Team and staff in other departments to monitor marketing campaign activity to create content that meets established standards · As needed, create and monitor content schedules for planned campaigns · Prepare performance reports and results following campaign execution | 35% |
· Update and maintain event mobile app content to achieve event marketing goals · Prepare performance reports following event showing results and ROI | 10% |

The Web and Mobile Marketing Specialist/Coordinator has no supervisor responsibilities. The Web and Mobile Marketing Specialist/Coordinator reports directly to the Marketing Manager
SECTION V: Desired Qualifications and Position Designation
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design or related field
- Minimum three years of professional experience in web development, related experience in a marketing support role
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency in using content management systems
- Knowledge of content optimization and search engine optimization principles
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, and other web development software
- Ability to create content for multiple platforms
- Strong communication skills: writing, verbal, listening
- Proven ability to review and edit content of others; to rewrite and reformat for web production
Salary range: $ - $ Washington, DC metropolitan area based. NAEYC's headquarters office is located in Washington, DC. The salary will be determined based on the candidate's related experience and geographic location if not a DC metropolitan area hire. We hire locally whenever possible. We will consider a remote hire when no local qualified candidate has been identified for a highly specialized position.

Position Designation: Business Support: the role supports the overall strategic direction of NAEYC, but is not required to travel, have a daily presence in the office, or be called upon in the event of an emergency or crisis. This role may be eligible for 100% remote work outside the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Telework and remote work eligibility is subject to NAEYC's Telework and Remote Work Policy.
