Wealth Operations and Practice Management Strategist - Judson Group

Judson Group has partnered with a well-respected financial advisory practice in the Chicago area in the search for a Wealth Operations andPractice Management Strategist. This individual will play a crucial hands-on role that is responsible for daily operation efficiencies, client services, and office procedures.

The ideal candidate has strong communication and technological skills, knowledge of the client service and operations processes in a Wealth Management firm, and the ability to be a strategic thought leader and drive change. This individual should have a passion for using data-driven information to support strategic, efficient solutions. This role will report to the firm’s Managing Partner and has the potential to grow into a senior leadership position over time. The ideal candidate might be someone who wants to be on a COO type track but is stuck behind someone already in a leadership role.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring a top-notch operations and client experience, adhering to compliance and risk requirements.
• Run process and projects with an eye for growth and scale with clear goals and structure.
• Implement best-practice processes related to the firm’s operations and in support of the firm’s other departments including client data, employee changes, and investment functions.
• Develop and lead training and professional development focused on sales, relationship management, operation efficiencies, and client service.
• Oversee technology resources and processes as they pertain to the client experience and operations.
• Continuously assess and develop the team’s knowledge and skills regarding internal and custodian platforms, CSA workflows, and back-office operations workflows.
• Aid in the creation, maintenance, and monitoring of operational workflows.
• Manage client experience operations metrics and key performance indicators to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Implement new processes and procedures to increase operational efficiency day-to-day.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience preferably within a wealth/investment firm in client services or as a Practice Manager.
• Strong background in operations and process improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of basic financial services operational functions, terminology, and software.
• High degree of customer service, confidentiality, and urgency.
