What you will do
In this position, the successful candidate willbe responsible forthe management and leadership of Customer Quality Projects focused on battery quality for automotive OE Customers. Provide oversight on Quality projects ensuring customer expectations are properly captured and submissionscomply withexpectations
How you will do it
The Customer QualityManagersupportstheCBUsto understand the OE customer's strategic Quality Projects initiatives,identifyresources, currentgapsand project performance requirements.
The Customer QualityManageris the functional liaison between the customer and Clarios; as well as the coordinator and contributor in leading the development ofCustomerQuality Project and proposals.
Managesthe Customer Quality Projects scope and Statement of Work (SOW), including timeline, meeting key milestones, using critical path management including Customer Communication.
Plan and execute a robust risk management process to include identification, qualitative and quantitative risk analysis,mitigationand contingency planning. Draft project plans mutually agreed by Clarios multi-functional team & customer to achieve Customer Quality Projects launch performance metrics and manage scope changes (internal &customer).
Manageexecution and communications within Clarios functional areas(e.g.engineering / manufacturing, engineering/ sales) activities to assuretimelyresolution to customer quality project needs and concerns.
Plan & conduct Customer Quality Projects Reviews and Gate Reviews as planned, ensure participation by relevant sponsor and stakeholders, report summary program status on monthly basis (QOS) includingtimelyCustomer communication and updates.
Maintain organized Customer Quality Project History documentation. Ensure all documents and evidence are created,completedand filed.
Provide customer responses in a positive and professional manner per customer expectations.
What we look for
Required
University Degree in Engineering or foreign equivalent, technicaldegreeor related experience.
+10 years ofofexperience in engineering development and product launch in manufacturing industry and preferably in automotive.
5+ years of experience in Automotive, Automotive Systems, Electrical or Battery Systems.
Preferred
Experience in Program management Experience in automotive OE customer development processes,
Customer specific requirements (OE) such as Q1, BIQS, SQAM, and ANPQP.
Experience with managing multiple programs concurrently.
Travel expectation is approximately 40% of time between Milwaukee and other Clarios sites (US and Mexico)
