About the Job
Seeking a skilled and experienced Waterjet Operator & Plasma Cutting Operator to join our production team. The operator will be responsible for setting up and operating laser & waterjet cutting machines to cut materials according to precise specifications
Responsibilities:
- Read and understands blueprints.
- Following directions/instructions step-by-step. Has knowledge of speeds, feeds, and tooling.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as cutting parts per order.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of the components
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure conformance to specifications
- Ability to use calipers and other measuring tools accurately
- Able to use an overhead crane, and other lifting devices. able to operate forklift
- Maintain work area and equipment: clean, orderly, and safe.
- Follow all safety rules
