**MUST HAVE Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) experience!**
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Water/Wastewater Construction Project Superintendent. In this role, you will oversee and manage on-site activities to ensure the safe, effective, and profitable execution of water and wastewater construction projects. The Superintendent will be dedicated to a single project and responsible for on-site safety, self-performed work, and coordination with subcontractors and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of job site safety, including employee safety, subcontractors, suppliers, and other authorized individuals on the job site.
Contribute to project team planning for self-performed work, covering areas such as earthwork, concrete, carpentry, metalwork, mechanical, and electrical.
Coordinate, schedule, and manage subcontractors and suppliers, making informed decisions on construction practices and methods.
Prepare weekly look-ahead schedules, crew task lists, labor tracking reports, and daily reports.
Manage Filanc's material organization and tracking system, including receiving, inventory, and on-site management.
Ensure care and maintenance of Filanc and rented equipment.
Order and rent construction materials and equipment as needed.
Assist in creating and updating project schedules.
Ensure timely preparation and delivery of timecards.
Review purchase receipts and manage interpretation, distribution, and tracking of weekly labor reports.
Implement the project Quality Management Plan.
Plan and staff field personnel, monitoring work performance and productivity.
Provide daily interface with the owner and owner's representatives.
Advise project management on potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties.
Maintain liaison with other departments to support construction schedules.
Assume the project manager role when not assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in Water/Wastewater Construction projects.
Willingness and ability to travel to different project sites.
Knowledge of earthworks, concrete form systems, concrete placement, metals work, carpentry, and mechanical work.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and internet use.
Strong communication and mathematical skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail.
