Our company, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position that will see the successful candidate managing and overseeing a variety of water and wastewater projects. You will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and scheduling to final execution and closeout.
Responsibilities:
1. Leading and managing water and wastewater construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to design and implement effective water and wastewater treatment facilities.
4. Ensuring all projects comply with relevant health and safety regulations, as well as environmental policies.
5. Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce to ensure smooth project execution.
6. Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project plans.
7. Identifying potential project risks and developing contingency plans.
8. Preparing and presenting project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
9. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
10. Continuously improving project management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, specifically in water/wastewater projects.
2. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
3. Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and facilities.
4. Excellent understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
5. Proficient in using project management software and tools.
6. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to work under pressure and solve complex problems.
8. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
9. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
10. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
