We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Water/Wastewater Engineering Group Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our Engineering department and will oversee the planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or environmental engineering, with a focus on water/wastewater systems. You will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and designers, ensuring the successful completion of projects on time and within budget. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a challenging and rewarding work environment.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers and designers in the planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Oversee all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
- Develop and implement innovative design solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Use CAD software to create detailed design plans and specifications.
- Regularly report on project status to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, with a focus on water/wastewater engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in using CAD software for engineering design.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to water/wastewater systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage a team effectively.
