Job Details
As a Senior Engineer, you will leading teams of engineers and designers as a technical lead or project manager on complex projects. You will also contribute to designing and developing systems to support water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection.
Job Responsibilities:
- Apply established Environmental Engineering principles to plan, design, and develop systems or processes.
- Maintain technical knowledge of water and wastewater design techniques and procedures.
- Complete studies and analyses such as Needs Assessments, Capacity Evaluations, and Environmental Impact Assessments.
- Develop process designs for water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and distribution systems.
- Conduct site surveys, develop specifications, and perform construction cost estimates.
Background Experience, Technical Skills, and Attributes:
- Proven experience in the design and implementation of wastewater and water projects.
- Advanced leadership skills as a technical leader or project manager.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar major; Master's degree or MBA a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Civil 3D, and Sewer/Water GEMS software.
- General knowledge of equipment and construction specifications, sequences, and practices.
