Water Resources Engineer/Project Manager

Responsibilities:
4Creeks is seeking a Water Resources Engineer/Project Manager to work under the Water Department Manager. Responsibilities for this position would include being a subject matter expert on water sustainability studies and solutions, surface water conveyance and distribution, manage aquifer recharge (MAR) and aquifer storage and recover (ASR), water conservation, irrigation district operations, groundwater management, recharge, and banking, project funding and grants, water transfers and exchanges, water rights, feasibilities studies, project planning and design.
This position can specialize in water program leads (Sustainable Groundwater Management Program, Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program, CV-Salts, etc.), or surface water and groundwater engineering solutions (delivery systems (canals, etc.), recharge basins, etc.).
Duties will involve project planning, engineering consulting and design, client contact and project management. Other responsibilities include client management, presenting at and attending meetings, project tracking, site visits and documentation of site conditions. This position will primarily entail office work.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in water resources/consulting or closely related field
2. B.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field is preferred
3. The ideal candidate will have extensive working knowledge of the regulatory programs impacting irrigated agriculture and groundwater management in California
4. Knowledge of agricultural water management practices is preferred
5. Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel is required.
6. Experience working in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is preferred
Compensation:
Salary will be determined by candidates skill and experience level and highly competitive with industry standards.
Benefits package includes full employee health coverage (50% coverage for dependents), company 401(k) contribution, and performance bonuses. The expected pay range for this position is $80,000 to $125,000 annual salary.
