Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee planning, design, and construction administration of utility infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
- Client Interaction: Partner with locally elected officials, service providers, and state administrators to deliver efficient and fiscally responsible solutions. Visit sites and attend client and public meetings as needed.
- Design Work: Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to design water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Construction Administration: Manage construction processes to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required standards.
- Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of hydraulic, hydrologic, and storm water management principles to develop effective solutions.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports, business correspondence, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Certification: Engineer In Training (EIT) certification in Kentucky.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the design and construction administration of water utility and wastewater utility infrastructure projects within a consulting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, including Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Organizational Skills: High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Time Management: Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Project Planning: Ability to plan project resources, maintain schedules, and manage budgets.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
