Wastewater Operator from Apidel Technologies LLC

Job Description:

• Performs any combination of tasks pertinent to controlling operation of plants and pumping stations as directed
• Operates treatment facilities to control flow and processing of water, sludge, and effluent under direction of Operator, Operator I, Operator II, Lead Operator or Lead Operator II
• Monitors gauges, meters, and control panels
• Observes and reports abnormalities to Lead Operator or Lead Operator II
• Operates valves and gates either manually or by remote control.
• Starts and stops pumps, engines, and generators to control and adjust flow and treatment processes under direction of Operator, Operator I, Operator II, Lead Operator or Lead Operator II
• Maintains shift log and records meter and gauge readings
• Takes samples and performs process control laboratory tests and analyses
• Performs routine maintenance functions and custodial duties

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Water level I
  • Minimum of one year water experience.
