Position Summary:

With nearly three decades of high-performance engineering expertise in the industrial and municipal water treatment space, these folks bring innovative solutions to structural engineering, power systems, control systems, and industrial plant electrical systems. The role involves working on diverse projects, including water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations, chemical storage facilities, and commercial buildings. You will collaborate with senior engineers to prepare plans, specifications, and reports by producing design calculations, performing technical analyses, and researching updated design standards. Fieldwork will also be part of the role, collecting technical data and information for analysis for electrical design tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

Act as Project Lead for limited-scope projects, assisting with planning, scoping, proposing, and coordinating technical activities.

Manage budgets, design processes, QA/QC, and production for specific project elements, such as power systems for individual facilities.

Ensure project objectives are met, operational issues are resolved, and timelines and budgets are adhered to.

Prepare intermediate-level drawings, calculations, estimates, specifications, and reports.

Collect and analyze technical data to support electrical design tasks.

Develop and apply a thorough understanding of electrical codes and design software.

Create electrical design reports, calculations, and drawings aligned with applicable codes, project specifications, and industry standards.

Interact with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams, including mechanical, architectural, structural, and civil disciplines.

Deliver project results within established timelines, adhering to quality control standards and client requirements.
What You'll Need:

5-7 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.

Proven expertise in designing power, lighting, and control systems, particularly for water and wastewater treatment facilities (preferred).

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.

Active PE license in California.

Authorization to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship.
