JOB SUMMARY: To manage the operations of donated merchandise in accordance with established business practices and Agency policies, procedures and budget projections while being accountable for the safety and security of personnel and organization assets.
Direct Reports: Assistant Manager of Warehouse and Transportation
Indirect Reports: Drivers, Forklift Operators, Baler Operators, Warehouse Shift Leaders and Warehouse Processors.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Provide excellent internal and external customer service and maintain regular and timely communication with customers, peers and organizational leadership.

Ensure all equipment is safe for use and that the users operate in a safe manner for the intended purpose.

Facilitates accurate and prompt processing of the payroll for departmental personnel.
-
Manage budget and maintain expenditures in accordance with the Agency, departmental, and financial goals.
-
Hire, train, evaluate, motivate and supervise all personnel to reach Goodwill’s and the Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) compliance and operational standards.

Schedule tractors and trailers for regular preventative maintenance and Department of Transportation (D.O.T) Federal Inspections in a timely fashion.

Bale textiles and?safely?operate the bailing machine

Safely operate the Tipper as referenced in the training material.

Coordinate and execute the movement of product to and from all Agency locations in the most efficient and productive manner.

Prepare daily truck and trailer dispatch schedules.
-
Operate forklift and ensure all employees are certified on forklift procedures.
-
Assist in loading/unloading of truck and trailers.
-
Monitor and maintain overall appearance of fleet to the Agency’s standards.

Assist in all functions performed by Attended Donation Center (ADC) personnel.

Conduct monthly meetings with Warehouse, Transportation and Logistics employees.
-
Maintain all company records and reports accurately and in a timely fashion.
-
Attend all meetings and training as required by the Agency.

Review and be familiar with Goodwill of Central Oklahoma safety policies, programs and procedures and adhere to all safety rules, regulations and safety codes. Attend safety training and meetings and report any unsafe work conditions, accidents or injuries immediately.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree or completion of management course work, preferred.

Bilingual a plus.
-
3 years of experience in a related field required.
-
3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
-
Must be 21 years of age.
-
Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and Car Insurance Verification, required.
-
Class A CDL preferred.
-
Must pass MVR check and maintain a good driving record.
-
Ability to speak, read and write the English language.
-
Reliable transportation and communication required.

This work is physical and requires the following activities: Standing, walking, twisting, bending, grabbing, reaching and driving for long periods of time; occasional squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.

The ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds, or more with assistance.

Must be able to maneuver 200 pounds, pull utility carts on wheels on and off trucks.

Employee is required to operate a computer, and handle textiles and donated goods.

This is considered a safety sensitive position. No level of impairment from drugs, alcohol or prescription medications will be acceptable while performing the essential functions of this job.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
-
Works in warehouse environment most of time and will be exposed to airborne particles such as dust, mold, dirt and pollen as well as extreme heat and cold.

Must be available to work during operating hours as needed for business operations. Work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays and black periods which may vary from week to week.

Works 45 hours per week or more when required
-
Moderate-high noise level.
