Job Description
This class is responsible for purchasing and tracking inventory and supplies. Incumbents perform data entry and gather data for various tracking reports and may serve as lead worker in absences of supervisor.
Essential Duties
- Maintains records of inventory ordered and received.
- Receives shipments and verifies contents of shipment and distributes inventory to appropriate department.
- Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment and initiates purchase orders.
- Pulls inventory for various departmental requests.
- Labels inventory for easy tracking and identification.
- Maintains database for tracking inventory and purchase information.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
Minimum Qualifications
WAREHOUSE TECH II
- High School diploma, or GED
- Two years of automated warehouse or inventory control experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
- Valid driver's license
- Forklift certification
