The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for the administration of material logistics in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role involves ensuring timely turnaround on material requests and material receipts, both physically and within the Oracle accounting system. The Warehouse Technician will also manage inventory control, accuracy, and the administration of periodic cycle counts in inventory locations. The position requires continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages typically weighing 25 - 35 lbs., with occasional items up to 70 lbs.
Job Responsibilities
The base range for this contract position is $15 - $24/per hour, depending on experience.

The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for the administration of material logistics in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role involves ensuring timely turnaround on material requests and material receipts, both physically and within the Oracle accounting system. The Warehouse Technician will also manage inventory control, accuracy, and the administration of periodic cycle counts in inventory locations. The position requires continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages typically weighing 25 - 35 lbs., with occasional items up to 70 lbs.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive inventory items via Financial/Accounting software suite.
- Physically locate and manage inventory items.
- Process non-inventory items per RMAs.
- Handle decommissioned inventory items returned from the network.
- Resolve receipt vs. invoice discrepancies with AP.
- Process standard and freight shipments through shipping vendor's online portal.
- Maintain detailed shipping logs for each transaction.
- Issue inventory items to projects manually or automatically in the Financial/Accounting software.
- Stage, reserve, and allocate inventory items per system requests.
- Create and maintain inventory item IDs in Financial/Accounting software.
- Perform periodic cycle counts and physical inventory (PI) of inventory items.
- Work independently with a high level of attention to detail.
- Perform assigned housekeeping duties as required.
- Additional duties and overtime as requested.
- Valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
- Must pass a drug screening and background check.
- Previous OSHA forklift operations and certification experience (sit-down and stand-up forklifts).
- Experience with handheld scanners for inventory management.
- Understanding of basic inventory control principles.
- Experience with order picking and maintaining high levels of picking accuracy.
- Understanding of Lot Control.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Excellent communication skills (fluent in English).
- Strong MS Office and data entry skills.
- Experience with Oracle or JDE ERP systems is a plus.
- Understanding of UPS/FedEx shipping software.
- High level of attention to detail and follow-through.
- Excellent customer service with a positive attitude and proactive mindset.
