About the Job

We are in need of an experienced Warehouse person for a wholesale gift distributor in Tempe, AZ. This is a Full-time position Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. This is a year-round position, NOT seasonal or temporary. Warehouse Experience Required.

Description

Duties will include: Receiving shipments, Stocking, and Inventory counts. Pack boxes for UPS, FedEx, Priority Mail & Palletize truck freight orders. Regular lifting, sorting, boxing and palletizing, so must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly. Maintaining & organizing stockroom and warehouse space. Working in a Team Environment. This position will also require sorting items from 1" to 6" by size and weight, with accuracy being important.

Skills & Requirements

• Ltl and small package handling, palletizing experience required

• Able to lift 50+ pounds

• Working in the elements when needed (heat)

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment

• Fork Lift Certified (expired ok)

• Experience in inventory processes a plus

• Follow directions for everyday and special projects with strong attention to detail

• Must be able to work in fast-paced environment and maintain a standard of production performance to meet production deadlines

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently

• Must have excellent listening & communication skills, pleasant personality and the ability to work well in a Team Environment

Important Notes

Starting Pay Rate: $16.00 to $18.00 an hour plus Benefits, depending on experience
