Responsibilities:
-Understand and comply with all safety policies and procedures, including the company Life Saving
Rules. Comply with all lock out/tag out and confined space procedures.
- Assess the hazards of the job area before starting any assignment, and plan the job so work can
be done safely. Identify and correct all unsafe acts, conditions and behaviors observed and
communicate to the supervisor.
- Perform safety walks to promote a positive safety culture and enter audits into Quentic..
-Identify, set up, operate safely and efficiently, adjust, monitor, changeover and control all process
equipment associated with the on the card line to meet or exceed facility plan.
-Ensure on-shift compliance with all Safety, Environmental, Quality and Productivity policies and
directives.
- Ensure production schedule is met and report any deficiencies related to the production schedule.
Work with Manager, Production on employee coaching and development of crew members.
-Operate industrial fork truck with fork and clamp attachments. Has knowledge of inventory
scanning and understands transporting and storage of materials.
-Read, understand and execute work instructions, orders to produce, product specifications,
winder instructions and quality management system support.
-Responsible for quality control of production including but not limited to inspecting, quality and
reporting non-conforming materials. Perform quality checks, workmanship audits, product
inspections, and work instructions to meet specifications as required.
-Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance, as assigned.
-Participate in the training of all crew members.
- Conduct Performance Reviews of crew members.
- This position is required to cross train and assist in operations of all machines.
- Assign tasks to team members and manage the flow of day-to-day operations.
-Create and distribute reports to update the company on the team?s progress.
-Must perform basic mechanical and maintenance.
-Perform basic electrical tasks on machinery/equipment (reset drives only if necessary, etc.)
-Must be willing and able to rotate among machines and perform other duties as assigned.
-Lock out/tag out machinery/equipment and verify ZES to ensure safety and prevent accidents and
injuries.
- Review PM sheets to identify PM priorities and schedules.
-Communicate frequently with mechanical and electrical technicians and other technical operators
to avoid machinery, electrical or equipment issues and problems.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Skills:
-Attendance is very important.
-Must have drive.
-MUST have reliable transportation.
-Flexible to do OT and work between Day and Night Shift
-Good work performance and attitude
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Must have at least 3 years in warehouse manager role
Must be able to utilize a FL
Must be able to pass background check
Required to be on your feet for extended periods of time; i.e., climbing stairs or traveling about
the facility.
Must be willing and able to rotate among machines and perform other duties as assigned.
Must have knowledge to troubleshoot and correct line operational issues. Possess a detailed technical
knowledge of all process
