Warehouse Team Lead ($24-26/hr + ESOP) - Ultimate Staffing

Overview:

The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual, with a strong focus on management and accountability. They will excel at ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of shipments, while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment. This person will take pride in managing the pick, pack, and ship process for daily orders, overseeing the receipt of incoming products, and ensuring inventory accuracy. They will also be skilled in obtaining freight quotes and handling light assembly tasks. Job Summary:

• Coordinate the shipping and receiving department, including staffing, daily activities, and staff reviews, while ensuring efficient warehouse organization.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of sales orders, including picking, packing, and shipping via multiple methods (small parcel, LTL, international, air, and ocean).
• Prioritize and coordinate daily shipments with departments to streamline the process and maintain accuracy in open back orders and freight quotes.
• Oversee monthly shipment goals, working with departments to meet accuracy and timeliness targets for both outgoing and incoming shipments.
• Manage the receipt and processing of incoming products, returns, and repair items on a daily basis.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through error resolution, yearly physical counts, and cycle counts as needed.
• Uphold organization and cleanliness in the warehouse and shipping areas to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 6 years of warehouse experience (Inventory/picking/packing/ shipping/receiving, etc.)
• Team lead/ supervisory experience is a must
  • this person will have 1 direct report (warehouse associate) with plans to hire another person soon.
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Great communicator, proactive, independent thinker and confident

• Pay range: $24-26/hr (+ monthly accuracy bonus, up to $250 and an added quarterly bonus)
• Schedule: M-F 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
