Duties & Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Supervisor will play a key role in managing and optimizing our warehouse operations while ensuring a safe and efficient workplace. This role develops and implements standard operating procedures, ensures inventory best practices, and efficient flow of activities and proper staffing.

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, organizing staff schedules and ensuring proper staffing for all shifts.
• Recruit and train new warehouse employees, conducting timely and constructive performance evaluations.
• Manage employee discipline and terminations in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments for efficient warehouse operations.
• Generate required management reports and execute maintenance activities as needed.
• Research, identify, and present ideas to enhance warehouse operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, both federal and company-specific, fostering a safety culture.
• Familiarity with DOT requirements for drivers and equipment operators.
• Ensure staff is appropriately trained for their roles and assist in developing standard operating procedures.
• Maintain compliance with inventory and cycle count best practices.
• Provide recommendations and establish standards for warehouse and logistics equipment.
• Identify, develop, and implement continual improvement initiatives.
• Respond to facility-related requests and oversee safety checklists.
• Oversee warehouse staff to ensure excellent housekeeping conditions.
• Assist with warehousing and tooling activities, including material receipt, stocking, loading/unloading, and inventory.
• Customer visits as needed to receive feedback on what the customer needs are.
• Operate heavy machinery, including Rough Terrain Forklifts and Forklifts.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in business administration or related field preferred, or equivalent operations/warehouse/transportation experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate your team.
• Proficient with a computer and able to utilize email and inventory programs.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a diverse team.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills.
