JOB SUMMARY:
Idaho Forest Group is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Grangeville team. The Warehouse Supervisor will assist in coordinating all daily warehousing activities. This position will be responsible for training, assigning, scheduling and communicating job expectations with personnel.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assists and leads assigned activities associated with warehouse operations
- Responsible for managing the process of receiving, stocking and quality control of all merchandise
- Work with Maintenance Planner to ensure that all parts are on hand for scheduled operations
- Responsible for organizing, planning, coordinating facilitating and managing all aspects of physical inventory and storage area
- Ensures warehouse equipment is maintained and in proper working order
- Responsible for coordinating and tracking shipments for returns, repairs, and samples
- Monitor status of on-site vendor managed inventories and communicate vendor related issues to buyer
- Monitor status and generate PRs as required
- Work closely with Accounts Payable for invoicing needs
- Responsible for identifying areas of improvement and establishing/updating existing work procedures and practices
- Monitors performance and productivity to maximize operation excellence, which includes service, quality, and cost control
- Actively participate in required training and development programs

- Ability to safely operate powered industrial truck
- Assist with assigning workload; to include training and cross-training of warehouse staff
- Other duties as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse experience, preferred 5 or more years
- 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Maintenance or Purchasing background preferred
- Procurement experience in an MRP environment is preferred
- Strong time management skills required
- Intermediate computer knowledge
- Possess analytical skills, decision-making skills, strong interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Math skills: basic math skills will be required to analyze prices
- Possess knowledge of the computers and software required to accomplish the responsibilities of the job
- Fundamentals in procurement
- Work independently with minimal direction and oversight
- Valid Driver’s license with acceptable driving record for business-related trips

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Move safely, quickly, and perform duties with repetitious movement. Sit and/or stand for shift, reach with hands and arms, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull, maintain balance, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distances, and climb stairs. Must be able to lift and carry 51+ lbs on a frequent basis. Must be able to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, vibrations and airborne particles (sawdust).
