Job Summary
The Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Work involves most of the following: verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting, and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials, and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage, and preparing it for shipment. This worker may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
Responsibilities: (may be performed by some or all task levels)
· Performs a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of TAB's storage plan.
· Verifying materials and/or merchandise against receiving documents, noting, and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
· Count incoming stock for verification and after classification of the product.
· Fold and/or package product according to specifications
· May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties
· Verify correctness by comparing items and quantities against placard and SCALE; checking for damaged goods; insuring that goods are appropriately identified for routing to warehouse locations; preparing and keeping records of goods received.
· Count quantities of materials, parts, or products received.
· Confirm stock in the correct location with the proper condition code, and with the correct quantity.
· Perform cycle counts weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
· Counting all inventory to know the exact quantity in the entire warehouse (usually performed annually)
· Noting and reporting discrepancies in a timely manner.
· Ensure production orders are pulled correctly, properly documented, and placed in the designated location for pick up.
· Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse.
· Maintain and operate all TAB equipment and property in accordance with accepted TAB practices.
· Transfer product from different locations in the warehouse.
· Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
· Mechanically load or unload materials from with electric pallet jack.
· May operate hand or power trucks
· Preserves safe and clean work environment
· Complies with and assists other employees understand and comply with TAB's Safety and Security policies and guidelines.

· Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
· Ability to operate and read a RF gun and computer
· Electric and nonelectric pallet jack skills
· Possesses basic math skills
· Basic computer skills
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
· The ability to navigate safely in small or large areas/environment
· The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.

Minimum Education and Experience
· Highschool diploma or equivalent
· Forklift Certification or the ability to attain certification through the company's training if needed
Physical Requirements
With or without reasonable accommodation, employees in this position must be able to:
· Have strong dexterity capabilities to grasp, assemble, and manipulate objects.
· The ability to stand for 7-8 hours a day.
· The ability to lift 10-45lbs items/products repeatedly.
· The ability to endure extreme temperatures in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, adjust position for 80% of time
