Acts as shift supervisor and coordinates workers' activities in the outbound shipment of products, including verifying and keeping records on outbound shipments, assigning orders for picking, checking, and loading by managing department product throughput. (2024)
Principle Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce Safety policies
- Serves as an example to subordinates and enforces company policies and procedures
- Review outbound schedules and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and equipment required to meet shipping schedules.
- Oversees loading activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of loads
- Responsible for leading their shift in efficient freight processing, including picking, checking, staging, and shipments for all customers.
- Inspects material handling equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel or contacts outside service facility for repair.
- Responsible for the safety and proper use of material handling equipment used by shift personnel.
- Issue written and oral instructions – Bilingual Spanish a plus
- Responsible for the adherence and execution of standardized procedures
- Responsible for the correction and accuracy of all work performed under their supervision
- Maintain good housekeeping throughout the facility
- SAP and RF Experience
- Pass down communication between shift leaders, verbal and email
- Train and assist, order pickers, checkers, and loaders as required
- Open communication with account coordinators to maintain work and shipping schedules
- Meet reporting deadlines, hourly, daily, monthly, year-end
- Flexible to adjust the schedule to meet operational needs
Competencies:
- Must have 1 year of previous supervisory experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain a forklift license through the Company
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required
- Ability to think clearly, take initiative, and work independently
- Must have previous computer experience, i.e. Microsoft Office Suite
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Warehouse/Logistics environment
- Minimum 5 years’ in a supervisory/ managerial capacity in a logistical/ manufacturing environment,
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office applications
- SAP knowledge a plus
- RF proficiency a plus
- Able to speak Spanish a plus

2nd shift
Monday – Friday No overtime 2:30PM - 11:30 PM; Monday – Friday (when required) over time 2:30PM - 12:30PM; Saturday (when required) 7:30AM – 4:30PM
