Position Title: Shipper/Receiver 1

6am/8am - 2pm/4pm (flexible hours)

SAP/ any logistical tracking software preferred

Department: Production Planning

Department Interactions

Internally: Production Planning, Purchasing, Operations,Quality, EHS&F, Equipment Repair, Transportation & Logistics, ProductManagement, Sales & Marketing, Tech Services.

Externally: Logistics vendors, 3PL warehousing, materialsuppliers, contract manufacturers.

1. Picks and packs orders, including non-routine shippingrequests from other departments. Ships domestic and international ordersthrough small parcel and freight carriers using carrier software and/or websiteto create shipping documents.

2. Puts away materials in proper location system based onrequired temperature storage of goods. Moves product from one location toanother physically and through ERP system. Identify potential Warehouse spaceoptimization improvements.

3. Performs inventory transactions, identifiesNon-Conforming Material, and completes cycle counts as needed. Responsible forentering the correct part numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, locations,document numbers, and quantities into ERP system.

4. Updates to the Outbound Shipment tracking report inTeams, as needed.

5. Maintain Dangerous Goods certifications and processthese shipments, as needed.

6. Primary back-up to Warehouse Receiving position, asneeded.

7. Primary person for Equipment Repair processing andcompletion of work orders.

8. Primary back-up for processing manufacturing workorders.

9. Maintains flexibility with changing priorities asdirected, which may include working overtime.

10. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Education: HS or GED

Work Experience:

1 year experience in warehousing & logistics andexperience with ERP systems. Ability to operate material handling equipment,including pallet jack and forklift.

Job specific Competencies & Skills:

Strong organizational skills and problem-solvingabilities. Familiarity with Oracle, SAP or ERP equivalent. Basic math,computer, and Microsoft Office skills. Able to work within a team environmentwith good time-management skills. Flexibility to changing priorities andschedules. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
