Warehouse Operations Manager
Result Statement
As an Operations manager, your primary responsibility will be to help ensure that our company is able to deliver on its promises to customers in an efficient and profitable manner, so that it may achieve long-term success. You will do this by ensuring orders are fulfilled on time / accurately as well as overseeing all critical business aspects related to our operations. Your ability to motivate and lead the team to do great work will be your signature strength as well as strong communication and strong problem solving skills so we can keep our customers and stakeholders satisfied. This also includes managing day-to-day fulfillment operations for the business.
Tactical Work Listing
Guide and lead company leaders and workforce
Implement company strategy
Give best efforts to maintain high customer satisfaction
Provide recommendations to the admin team
Report on weekly KPI performance and provide feedback to the admin team
Standards
Leadership
Hold daily huddles with the entire workforce to set the daily strategy and set goals and plans to achieve them. (It is recommended to hold these first thing in the morning)
Hold bi-weekly 1:1s with each leader to provide feedback and set individual / departmental goals
Provide performance improvement plans and citations when needed to employees who are underperforming
Attend Weekly 1:1s with the admin team.
Fulfillment
Website
Ensure there are zero outstanding shipping labels at the end of each day
Keep our Service Level Agreement deadlines with all customers each day
Wholesale
Experience shipping B2B pallet orders to big box retailers and complying with their routing guides
Experience with dropship orders from retailers like Target.com
Preparing pallet replenishment orders for Amazon FBA fulfilment
Inventory:
Oversee yearly inventory cycle counts for all customers
Ensure inventory is accurate at all times and systems and processes reinforce accuracy
Receiving
Keep our Service Level Agreement deadlines with all customers each day
Record and put away inventory in a timely manner to keep the warehouse operation running smoothly
Account Management
Be the primary point of contact for all warehouse activities with all Moor Fulfillment Customers.
Drive quarterly business reviews with customers and coordinate continuous improvement through data.
Be customer obsessed and timely in all customer interactions. We want our customers to think of you as part of their team.
Other requirements include:
Experience with the Google Apps of Products, WMS software (Shiphero, Shipstation), ERP systems, EDI Systems like SPS commerce and Microsoft Excel
Develop standard operating procedures (SOP) for each function of operations
Solid understanding of all supply chain functions
Experience with LEAN Six Sigma preferred
4+ years of warehouse management experience
Ability to negotiate and maintain current and future 3PL contracts.
Experience leading and developing team members.
Proven track record of using data to identify and solve problems
Solid understanding of all supply chain functions
Strong communication and presentation skills
Team player that collaborates well with others and can manage priorities
Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work in a dynamic environment
