As Warehouse Manager at Color Art, you take ownership of the complete fulfillment process while serving as leader, mentor and coach to a team of warehouse associates and delivery drivers. Safety is your number one priority. The Client Experience is a close second. You own your role and are comfortable in a fast-paced hands-on environment. You embrace technology and have a continuous improvement mindset. Making efficient use of all resources, you and your team fulfill orders for many of St. Louis' best companies, schools and healthcare systems.
OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE
- Provide an exceptional client experience by ensuring all product is received and delivered on-time and in excellent condition
- Lead a team of associates to ensure the safety of our people and our products

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a safe, organized and clean warehouse at all times
- Establish and enforce operational procedures for activities such as verification of outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials and keeping warehouse inventory current
- Inspects and maintains physical condition of warehouse and equipment
- Oversees the repairs and preventative maintenance program for equipment and fleet
- Collaborate with Team Leads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as sales, project management, installation and accounting
- Participates in planning personnel safety and activities
- Continually raises for team engagement and operational excellence
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Microsoft Office, Google Sheets and other standard software proficiency
- Proactive and professional communication
- Experience with standard warehouse scanning equipment and processes
- Understanding of basic OSHA safety regulations (OSHA 30 required within 90 days of hire)
- Class E license and forklift certification preferred
EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years' experience leading a warehouse, fulfillment, operations or similar team

EDUCATION
- Completion of high school, GED or equivalent
