Make a difference as a Warehouse Manager
As the Warehouse Manager at Riverside Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a team dedicated to efficient warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include supervising associates, optimizing staff efficiencies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements. You will spearhead initiatives to improve warehouse functions, conduct monthly P&L reviews, and participate in Quality Management System processes. By leading Corrective Actions and Preventive Action investigations, authoring warehouse processes, and maintaining operational standards, you will contribute to the continuous enhancement and success of our distribution services.

Additionally, three to five years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations and proficiency in WMS & QMS Systems are essential. Knowledge of ISO regulatory requirements, Hazmat procedures, and experience with material handling equipment operation are valuable assets for this position. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in creating and analyzing operational reports in Excel, is crucial.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to follow instructions effectively, lift items up to 50 pounds, and obtain a Riverside Operator's License within 30 days of employment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence are key attributes for thriving in this dynamic and customer-focused environment at our Richmond, Virginia location.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
- Three to five years of supervisory experience directing employees in a warehouse operations environment.
- Three to five years' experience utilizing WMS & QMS Systems.
- One to two years' experience working under ISO regulatory requirements preferred.
- General knowledge of general industry Hazmat Rules and Procedures as they pertain to warehouse operations preferred.
- Demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook
- Excel & Word)
- Demonstrate ability to create and analyze operational reports in Excel
- Three to Five years' experience operating material handling equipment both powered and manual.
