Warehouse Manager
Role Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for a high volume, order fulfillment, multi-functional distribution center. The warehouse manager will administer all functions to meet company goals that ensure timely accurate product receipt, order fulfillment, and the optimization of resources and processes while operating within budget. The warehouse manager will develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with company policies/procedures, continual process improvement and drive employee initiatives to create and promote an environment where employees are involved, and committed to the success of the Company.
Responsibilities
- Manage all warehouse activities including daily operations, facility and grounds maintenance, budgeting.
- Keep safe and clean work environment. Achieve and maintain compliance with all company and federally mandated regulations regarding Safety, OSHA requirement.
- Successfully manages warehouse tasks/projects and achieve desired results / objectives within budget and schedule.
- Tracks productivity to meet company’s requirements and maximizes operational efficiency. Identifies KPI and targets opportunities for improvement
- Train, mentor and develop supervisors and warehouse associates ensuring completion and proper execution of work procedures, Design and implement staffing strategies to ensure work force is flexible and can respond to variations in work flow.
- Participates in the Recruiting and Selection process, Conducts performance reviews and implements corrective action as appropriate, to ensure staffing levels are maintained with quality talent.
- Having a cross functional understanding of all areas of the facility Ensure the company’s physical assets (building, equipment, inventory, etc.) are properly controlled, maintained, protected and utilized.
- Interprets trains and consistently enforces Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Maintains associate relations through regular management, department or shift meetings; maintains on-going interaction; keeps open communication channels with associates by answering questions and explaining policies and procedures; monitors associate morale; and submit and respond to ideas to improve associate engagement and enablement.
- Perform administrative duties (payroll; submit approval; filing, records and documentation, letter management)
- Write daily weekly and annual report
- Other tasks assigned by the Senior Management

- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to drive results
- The employee must have effective communication skills including written, verbal and listening in English. Second language is a plus
- The employee must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). WMS system experience is preferred, and the employee must be proficient in use of Yita WPS within 90 days of hire.
- Being committed to support the business as needed through being able to work flexible hours, including holidays/weekends as well as perform additional duties as assigned
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A college degree is preferred.
- Must be able to operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and able to be certified.
Work Environment
Must be able to adapt to the work environment as typically indoors and occasionally will perform outside work and would be exposed to local weather conditions.
Must be able to adapt to the floors concrete in the warehouse and vinyl or carpet on the interior and cement outside. Moderate noise levels occur in the warehouse with powered industrial truck horns operating for safety.
Physical and Mental Demands:
Lift up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently. This job also requires frequent standing and walking.
Frequent use of the upper extremities is required to reach, handle, grasp and use tools, equipment, and manipulate product.
The employee must know and follow proper office and safety and security protocols, including first responder duties and emergency procedures
