Warehouse Manager - LHH

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a distribution company in Vancouver, WA on a Warehouse Manager / Site Leader job. You are passionate about training and development of you team and each individual. You are able to be both hands on with the team and coordinate strategic direction with the leadership team. Responsibilities:

• Ensures customers receive prompt, professional service both in person and over the phone by establishing standards and monitoring quality on a daily basis.
• Works directly with customers during busy times or with key customer accounts.
• Collaborates with Outside Sales staff to determine customer needs, develop sales programs and promotions, and implements and follows through on established programs.
• Provides information regarding customer buying habits and needs to Outside Sales on a regular basis.
• Performs outside sales calls as necessary.
• Develops relationships and rapport with customers to establish win-win partnerships.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business or similar preferred
• 5+ years of leadership experience in distribution and / or warehouse management
• Comprehensive knowledge of wholesale distribution operations, including order fulfillment, inventory control, customer service, showroom merchandising, shipping and receiving, and sales.
• General understanding of inventory management principles and procedures, including procurement, storage, forecasting, and handling of dead inventory.

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve customer complaints professionally.
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance in a retail environment.
• Proficient in sales and marketing techniques.

About the role:

Full Time, Direct Hire

Mon – Fri; 7a-4p

100% on site

Comp / Benefits – 90-100K DOE; employer/employee supported medical, dental and vision plans, paid time off, and 401k with company match
