Job Title: ReStore Assistant Manager.
Purpose:
The ReStore Assistant Manager functions as managerial support for the ReStore Manager and is responsible for assisting in most aspects of the administrative and operational management of the ReStore. The ReStore Assistant Manager provides leadership along with the ReStore Manager, Habitat for Humanity Executive Director, and the ReStore Advisory Committee. The ReStore Assistant Manager supports the mission of ReStore which is to provide a stable funding source for our Habitat for Humanity affiliate with a focus on reducing solid waste disposal and providing a resource for our communities to purchase inexpensive merchandise.

Time Commitment:
This is a full-time, non-exempt position, working 40 hours weekly Tuesday through Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional work hours outside the regular business day may be necessary.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour.
Benefits: Eleven paid holidays per year, one sick day per month, 80 hours of paid vacation, participation in Kaiser Health Plan.
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience supervising at least 5 employees or volunteers.
- Experience in computer operations in programs such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and 365.
- Knowledge of cash register/POS systems.
- Credentialed and able to train staff to become forklift certified.
- Assists ReStore Manager with opening and closing ReStore, balancing registers, preparing reports, and making deposits.
- Enforces policies and procedures to maintain an effective, efficient, and safe ReStore operation.
- Enforces customer service procedures and maintains the donor and customer referral lists.
- Provides leadership and supervision to staff and volunteers.
- Trains staff and volunteers in on-the-job duties.
- Experience in warehouse management and inventory control systems, sales, merchandising, salvage, and environmental areas.
- Must be able to lift and move items that are 50 pounds.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time on cement floors - up to two to four uninterrupted hours in a crowded retail facility.
- Effective interpersonal skills working with customers, volunteers, and staff.
