Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor
The Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor will lead our warehousing teams and direct all warehousing operations for Hampton as well as in our other remote locations. In this position you will build and lead a team with a high level of integrity with key responsibilities to include customer relationship management (30%), supply chain management (40%), quality compliance and safety (30%), and other duties as assigned to ensure alignment within the group and strategic plans. The Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor will solicit multiple perspectives from all levels and groups within the organization to solve challenges.
Essential Job Functions
Prioritize day-to-day activities for warehousing and 3PL groups
Support supervisory and coordination staff with daily objectives
Liaison with key stakeholders such as customer service, quality, and transportation regarding service
Monitor goal progress of direct reports and provide them the necessary resources for success
Hold team accountable to policy administration
Work with purchasing, sales, production and 3PL groups to maintain appropriate inventory levels
Develop, maintain, and post warehousing KPI's including 3PL performance metrics
Ensure 3PL's are upholding safety, quality, and inventory management in accordance to contractual agreements
Control and reconcile inventory levels through physical counts
Maintain warehouse staff by assisting in recruiting, selecting, and ensuring employees receive training
Sponsor and manage value add projects.
Cross Functional Support for Packaging & Formulations Supervisor Duties.
Competencies/Skills/Abilities Required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, MS Visio, One Note, ZOOM, NBi, Netsuite, One Drive
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Good presentation skills
Ability to demonstrate successful past leadership in operations, warehouse management, and/or managing personnel
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Engineering Sciences, Supply Chain, or related field.3 years of material/inventory management experience.
5-8 years' experience in operations, warehouse management, or related experience within Omnium's Quality, Safety, Warehousing or Operations Systems.
Practical experience with inventory forecasts, collaborating with internal supply chain partners, and/or managing a budget. Practical experience working with EH&S programs, and other compliance/safety procedures
