Warehouse Leader Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all warehouse operations including delivery scheduling, inbound and outbound processes, safety requirements, and special customer requirements.
- Provide day-to-day direction and training Warehouse Associates, are instructed by management.
- Possess the knowledge and demonstrated ability to complete all Gexpro Services warehouse competencies.
- Receives material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses accurately and promptly.
- Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list and/ or prepares a receiving report if none is available.
- Assist common carriers and warehouse personnel with loading and unloading vehicles, as needed.
- Assist with Level I quality responsibilities inspects inbound & outbound materials for conformance, and supplier documentation, manufacture/special process certifications
- Processes paperwork regarding UPS shipments include verifying that the merchandise to be shipped is correct, applying the correct UPS postage tape, following customer shipping instructions and insuring the shipment when necessary.
- May lead or assist with annual physical inventory processes in partnership with Division Operations Manager
- Gathers assembled orders that are in carts and verifies their quantities and descriptions.
- Counts and writes total quantity of merchandise being shipped on the invoice.
- Packs each order into a container and arranges the container onto a shelf according to truck route.
- Assembles customer orders to be shipped via UPS.
- Stocks incoming orders onto shelves.
- Verifies quantities and items being shipped against the invoice.
- Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment and assume responsibility for immediately addressing safety concerns.
- Maintain warehouse and keep shelves and floor in clean condition.
- Follow all established warehouse Standard Operating Procedures.
- Follow all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and operate in a safe manner.
- Other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Leader Requirements: The Warehouse Leader should preferably possess a high school diploma or GED valid driver’s license. Additionally, the ideal candidate should preferably possess the following skills:
- Previous working experience overseeing general supply chain management processes in a physical demands warehouse environment.
- This includes standing continuously, lifting up to 50lbs unassisted and repetitive use of hands/manual dexterity.
- Strong time management skills, along with multi-tasking, prioritizing and problem-solving capabilities.
- High attention to detail and level of accuracy in processing orders and maintaining records.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, organize, and prioritize job tasks to aid in satisfying customer requirements.
- Goal oriented and self-motivated with ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Customer oriented and motivated with solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong industrial b and c-class level component knowledge including but not limited to mechanical/ electrical products, fasteners, and fabricated goods, is preferred.
- Proficiency in WMS and Microsoft Offices, specifically Microsoft Excel
- The qualified candidate must also possess the ability to work overtime, when necessary.
Compensation details: 26-26 Hourly Wage
