CSI is hiring for a Warehouse Lead at our Grand Prairie, Texas location.
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for guiding and directing the warehouse operations along with being the primary contact for other departments. This is a working lead position in which the lead will act as a high performing member of the warehouse team. Must be an effective team player to fulfill all aspects, including the general utility of a small warehouse. Must be able to do light repairs, have self-initiative, take pride, and be able to work alone. The person in this position must have good communication skills and have attention to detail to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.

Salary: $22 - $28 per hour
The Warehouse Lead duties include:
Lead Duties:
• Assign daily tasks for warehouse team
• Perform job tasks as part of crew as necessary to complete the work
• Monitor productivity and quality of all team members and report to manager
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations by team members
• Administer and enforce all CSI safety policies and procedure with a high level of concern for safety
• Daily inspection of equipment (CSI owned and rented) such as forklifts, scissor lifts, etc.
• Respond to request of customers, internal and external, positively and timely
• Provide real time status update on staged orders, jobs, material and pending inbound shipments to leadership, upon request
• Ensure compliance with OCS standards as set forth by leadership
Inbound:
• Receive all types of material per procedure
o Reverse Logistics
? Field return material
? Customer RMAs
o Job material
o Inventory
o Cross dock material
o Warehouse Transfers
o Supplies and MRO
• Tag, Stage and Put parts away
o Check for accuracy in receiving-actual receipt vs. computer receipt
o Check to make sure the part numbers match as well as the quantity
• Setup and move part primary bins
• Update inventory weights and dimensions
• Answer phone calls and emails regarding incoming shipments or materials in stock
• Assist purchasing agents or A/P with any questions on receiving reports
Inventory Control:
• Complete bin replenishment
• Process cycle counts and send to leadership for review and posting
• Review Available Warehouse Locations and Bin Tracker dashboards
Outbound:
• Direct flow of packages from packing to shipment
• Complete all shipments according to expected due date
o Sales orders
o Job material
o Warehouse transfers
o Supplier returns
• Run UPS and FedEx Manifest
• Pull inventory, pack and ship orders to prevent damage
• Provide documentation when requested on orders
o MTRs
o COCs
o MTCs
• Check orders to ensure accuracy
• Take late shipments to FedEx and UPS
Other:
• Accurately complete timecard
• Indexing using Synergy
o MTR’s
o COC’s
o Supplier Pack List
• Source or provide supplies requisitions to leadership or to ensure no gaps in ability to fulfill shipment expectations

- High School diploma or equivalent, required
- Forklift certification
- Must have a valid Driver's License, Class B CDL helpful
Experience
- 5 years warehouse experience, preferred
- Computer knowledge, required
- Epicor Kinetic software, preferred
More than 40 hours per week will occasionally be required to achieve the productivity necessary for this position. Overnight travel, Saturday, Sunday and holiday hours may occasionally be require but are not anticipated with this position.
Warehouse positions require constant walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and stooping and operation of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. The employee must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a phone, copy/fax/scan machine, computer keyboard and mouse with or without reasonable accommodation. The employee must also frequently lift and/or move items up to 75 pounds with assistance. Visual acuity is required to perform work using close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee may be exposed to environmental factors typical of a warehouse. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, such as gloves, safety glasses and steel toe shoes.
