The Kitting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the kitting process, ensuring that all parts and components required for production are accurately gathered, packed, and delivered to the assembly lines. This role focuses on managing a team of kitting associates, ensuring quality control, optimizing kitting efficiency, and maintaining smooth operations within the kitting area. The Kitting Supervisor plays a key role in streamlining production and minimizing delays due to parts shortages or inaccuracies.

Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of kitting associates, including training, scheduling, and monitoring daily activities to ensure productivity and adherence to quality standards.
- Kitting Process Oversight: Manage the collection, packing, and delivery of parts and components into kits for various assembly lines, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular checks of assembled kits to verify that all necessary components are included and meet quality standards. Address any discrepancies or missing items.
- Inventory Management: Work closely with the inventory control team to ensure proper stock levels of components required for kitting and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve kitting efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline processes. Implement lean practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordination with Production: Communicate with assembly line leaders and production managers to understand their requirements and ensure the timely delivery of kits.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of kitted items, production schedules, and any quality issues. Prepare reports on kitting performance metrics and team productivity.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all team members follow safety protocols and comply with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School GED Required
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Experience in kitting processes within an automotive, electronics, or similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency with ERP system, inventory management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Korean Bilingual preferred
- Ability to Travel: up to 10 % in U.S.
- Required to work on-site: 300 Nexus Dr., Dalton, GA 30721 (Onsite)
Working Conditions
- This position is primarily based in a 24/7 manufacturing facility and may require changing shifts
- This role may involve working outside of regular business hours to meet deadlines or address operational issues
