About the Job
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming/outgoing articles to verify receipts/shipment of items on requisition or invoices.
- Comply with all Work Instructions and Process Documents to ensure audit compliance and accuracy
- Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
- Accurately and safely put stock away in the Store racking and picking bin locations
- Process receipt of faulty and repaired serialized parts (returned from Field) using ServiceNow, ensuring accuracy of information and input throughout each process
- Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.
- Fills orders or issues supplies form stock.
- Cuts stock to size to fill order.
- Combines individual parts into kits based on provided documentation (BOM)
- Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.
- Marks identifying codes, figures, or letters and articles.
- Distributes stock stocks as necessary among production workers, keeping records of material issued.
- Maintains an accurate stock location system at all times.
- Moves or transports material from or to installation or job sites.
- Operate company vehicles as required.
- Determines methods of storage, identification and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
- Cuts stock to size to fill order.
- Moves or transports material or suppliers to other departments.
- Maintains inventory and other stock records.
- Performs cycle counts as directed.
- Operate company vehicles as required.
- Communicate with internal and external customers vis emails, phone, etc
- Manage ERP systems (Metrix, ServiceNow)
- Supports other departments upon request.
- Carries out all tasks in a manner that is safe to both yourself and all other Cubic employees and visitors to site
- Operate the Manual Handling equipment as per training provided e.g. hand pallet trucks, ladders, trollies, packing equipment, tools, and materials.
- Undertakes training as required and develop personal skill levels deemed necessary to meet the needs of CTS job requirements.
- Complies with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organization.
- In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by their manager from time-to-time, as may be reasonably required of them.
Minimum Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED. Basic computer knowledge required. Must possess the ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds. Must possess the ability to frequently stand, reach with hands and arms, climb and balance. Must possess the ability to dexterously manipulate a variety of sizes of parts repeatedly.
