The Warehouse Operator (Night Shift) is managed directly by the Warehouse Lead, Supervisor, Manager, and indirectly by the Executive Management of , Inc. You are responsible for ensuring all required objectives are met daily and on a professional level.

Goals:
As a Warehouse Operator (Night Shift), you will ensure all Warehouse tasks are well organized and completed in a timely manner as determined by management. Support the Warehouse Lead and Warehouse Supervisor to establish and improve Warehouse procedures and policies. As part of the Miles Chemical Company team, you are responsible to learn, understand, represent and contribute to Company policies, procedures and philosophies, including completing all assigned trainings as required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential job functions, but not limited to -
*Pull and stage product for next day delivery truck runs.
*Verify order accuracy by product code, lot number, quantity & unit of issue.
*Load and placard trucks.
*Load and unload reconditioned trailers.
*Execute in cycle counting according to MCCI standards in terms of frequency and quantity.
*Execute in the resolution of inventory discrepancies, investigate & correct deviations.
*Report warehouse facility safety issues and the organization of material issues immediately.
*Daily housekeeping and cleaning of warehouse (i.e., removal of trash, throwing away plastic wrap)
*Operates heavy equipment (forklift; reach and sit down, pumps, hoses, valves, scales, etc.) safely.
* Ensure efficient, accurate, and high-quality department operations.
* Educate warehouse employees on Shipping procedures.
* Communicate openly with upper management.
*Observes safety requirements set forth by company.
*Adhere to all S.O.P.'s, Work Instructions, and Daily Checklists.
*Performs other duties as assigned.
Competencies / Qualifications:
*One (1) year prior Warehouse Operator experience required.
*Minimum of six (6) months current Forklift experience, primarily stand up (reach) but also sit down required. Current Forklift Certification preferred.
*Problem-solving skills are a requirement
*Ability to operate both strategically and tactically
*Self-motivated, enthusiastic, very organized & dependable
*Written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to work in a team environment, multi-task and prioritize

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Warehouse Portion -
This job operates in a warehouse environment, working around containers of chemicals with the potential for fumes or airborne exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as ladders, electronic inventory intake device, hand pallet jack, forklift, and other warehouse equipment pertaining to this position. Wearing of required PPE is mandatory.
Position is largely walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, reaching, and lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weights up to 700 pounds. Able to lift up to 100 pounds. Requires activities involving being around moving forklift(s), truck(s), trailer(s) and exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity.
Administrative Portion -
This job also operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. You will work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
I understand that this portion of the position is largely sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequent near vision utilization for reading and computer work. I may be asked to lift files, open file cabinets and bend or stand while sitting on a chair or stool, as necessary.
