Warehouse Coordinator - ACCO Engineered Systems

Overview

JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibilities of this position will support warehouse logistics & planning, inventory control, construction project parts/material coordinating.  In addition, tool crib and safety equipment management is a function of this position.  This individual must be well organized, and demonstrate the ability to keep a neat and orderly workspace and warehouse.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist in all warehouse logistics, including inbound and outbound freight
• Provide courier service of project hardware to project construction sites, from time to time
• Process inbound freight on a timely and daily basis, with communication to the field project teams
• Support inventory management filing system
• Inventory all miscellaneous materials/hardware for the field
• Manage office field safety equipment inventory for the field and supports the check-out/check-in of all field safety equipment
• Coordinate and communicate expected delivery date expectations of materials/hardware orders, back to the field teams
• Assist in the filing of service paperwork
• Support the services and construction department in various tasks
• Process packing lists for orders and freight to the project achieve folders, for the appropriate projects
• Other operational support duties, as assigned by the Business Operations Supervisor

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 1 years of related work experience in warehouse logistics preferred
• Must be highly organized and keep a clean/neat work area
• Able to operate independently and autonomously, and yet possesses the discretionary judgment to know when it is appropriate to consult with others in the organization, and/or escalate to the Business Operations Supervisor
• Demonstrates a corresponding high sense of integrity
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities, employing strong organizational skills to respond successfully to a high volume of issues
• Must have a valid CA Driver’s License, and a clean driving record
• Must have a High School diploma, or equivalent
• Basic computer skills (MS Suite, PDFs, Google Suite, etc.)

• Must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Ability to adjust focus.
• The employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear.

HOURS: 

Monday through Friday, beginning between 6:00 am and 7:00 am, and ending between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm, with one hour for lunch. Eight hours per day is required, and occasional overtime may be necessary, due to business needs.

Competitive Wages: 

$22.60 to $29.81 per hour.
