Position Overview:
- Technical Support and Operations:
- Build valve assemblies, pick, pull, pack, and ship customer orders with proper cycle testing and documentation.
- Coordinate full cycle warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with Bray safety policies.
- Conduct inventory control activities including physical item counts and cycle counts.
- Field Service and Customer Interaction:
- Provide field service at customer facilities to install, calibrate, and repair actuators and valves.
- Represent Bray in a sales capacity while at customer sites, promoting Bray products.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to offer technical assistance on Bray products.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Write comprehensive service call reports and perform product testing/troubleshooting as required.
- Process product returns and conduct evaluations of valves and actuators returned from the field, generating evaluation reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience and Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in field service and warehouse operations; HVAC background preferred.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude, including proficiency with hand and pneumatic tools.
- Ability to read and understand instructions in English, operate a forklift, and maintain certifications.
- Basic knowledge of electricity, wiring, and circuitry.
- Other Requirements:
- Maintain a positive driving record and be willing to travel up to 10% for field service.
- Competency in using computers and basic software (e.g., UPS, common carrier software).
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work cooperatively within a team and with customers.
