Warehouse Attendant
Hours: 1st shift : 7am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday
Pay: $18-20/hr
SUMMARY:
Stock finished goods and moves materials within the facility.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work in warehouse area stocking finished goods.
- Move items into storage and stock.
- Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials to be moved.
- Records and maintains necessary information for inventory.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follows current safety policies and procedures and maintains safe work environment.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Because of the changing nature of our business, this job description will inevitably change. The employee will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within his/her capabilities as directed by management.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School degree or GED preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently during shift
- Prior shipping/warehouse/material handling experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, and adaptability
- Able to be on your feet most of the day
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
- Electric Case Picker experience preferred
- Frequently required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel and stand for long periods of time.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Working conditions are a warehouse with a cement floor. Facility is temperature controlled. Frequently climbing ladders, using Will require frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
