About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming chemical materials in accordance with safety protocols and company procedures.
- Perform quality checks on received materials and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software and manual logs.
- Prepare orders for shipment by pulling, packing, and labeling materials for delivery.
- Safely handle and store chemicals following strict safety guidelines and regulations.
- Organize warehouse space and maintain cleanliness to facilitate efficient operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill orders and ensure timely deliveries.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
- Comply with all safety and security standards, protocols, and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to handling chemicals.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Good physical condition to lift and move heavy items as necessary.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
