Warehouse Associate / Technician
Position Overview:
The Warehouse Associate/DC Power Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse facility, performing DC Power projects in the warehouse area and working in the field when needed.
Reporting Relationship: The Warehouse Associate/DC Power Technician reports to the Service Manager
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
· Attend and participate in safety training
· Adhere to all company and industry safety policies and procedures
· Adhere to applicable customer, industry, and manufacturer's maintenance/installation methods and standards
· Proper operation of basic tools and test equipment
· Proper operation of material handling equipment
· Supply and organize trucks with all equipment necessary to perform job functions
· Continually train and develop to advance responsibilities
· Develops strong line of communication between service manager and within all departments utilizing service
· Performs additions, removals, and modifications on working equipment and circuits
· Battery additions , removals and replacements
· Secondary DC Power additions, removals and replacements
· Run, test and terminate Alarms
· Installation of common wireless equipment such as Fuse Panels and other Power Equipment
· Addition or removal of common systems equipment and hardware
· Addition or removal of wiring connections on non-working equipment
· Lead verification and continuity testing
· Analysis of job specifications, drawings, and documentation
· Be able to perform in-process and final quality inspections
· Power transition work
· Day to day warehouse duties including general housekeeping and receiving equipment
· Complete and maintain certifications on equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
· Perform other duties as assigned
Skills/Knowledge
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
· Strong organizational skills
· Basic electrical knowledge
· Knowledge of DC power equipment, specifically in telecommunications, switchgear and control and UPS industries
· Ability to work with a range of tools, from wrenches to multimeters
· Strong technical and spatial reasoning abilities
· Efficient in Microsoft Office software
· Possess troubleshooting skills and be able to effectively operate basic equipment

Travel Expectations
· Up to 10% based on HMC projects and needs
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Must have and be able to maintain a current driver's license and acceptable driving record per HM Cragg insurance carrier standard
· Must pass a physical exam, background check and pre-employment drug screening
· Must be able to work flexible hours, days, and overtime, as needed
· Must maintain compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) random drug and alcohol screening requirements
· Ability to maintain a valid driver's license
· Must pass a physical exam, background check and pre-employment drug screening
· Ability to work at various heights
· Ability to lift items greater than 25lbs (and up to 150 lbs.) multiple times a day
