Job Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team.
As a Warehouse Associate at ATP, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations by way of shipping, receiving, inventory control and pre-kitting. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and have a strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely processing for the duties mentioned below.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Shipping and Receiving: Handle all aspects of shipping and receiving processes.
- Order Processing: Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring the correct items are shipped with proper documentation.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels. Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventory checks.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damages. Report and document any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain shipping documents, such as packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping labels. Ensure all documentation complies with company and regulatory standards.
- Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to address any order-related inquiries or issues. Communicate effectively with carriers and freight providers.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations. Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping and customs regulations.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Properly store and label inventory to facilitate easy retrieval.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and order fulfillment
- Familiarity with ShipStation or similar shipping software
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic computer skills for order tracking and inventory management.
