Warehouse Associate I - TEMPORARY 3 Months Location: Somerset, NJ Position Responsibilities:
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, addressing workplace issues and providing support to employees and managers.
+ Process inbound shipments from transportation carriers.
+ Inspect inbound delivery for any product damages and review shipping paperwork for accuracy.
+ Receive, count, and record the inbound delivery into inventory system (SAP and LabsQ), as needed.
+ Ensure the delivery information on the Bill of Lading or Shipping Invoice matches the actual received merchandise. Notify the manager with any quantity discrepancy on the shipping paperwork compared to physical quantity received.
+ Process outbound shipments of finished goods to various customer locations, including the US and Europe.
+ Organize the shipment by accurately counting, staging, packing, and preparing the products for outbound shipment.
+ Prepare the shipping paperwork and process the Sales and Invoicing transactions in SAP.
+ Receive requests from Production departments to move stock from Warehouse to Production departments.
+ Locate materials in Warehouse and prepare the materials for physical movement to Production departments.
+ Deliver the materials and supplies to Production areas and record the stock movement of materials in SAP.
+ Accurately document materials and supplies delivered to Production.
+ Follow established Warehousing and Logistics department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
+ Exercise good judgment in accordance with safety and operational policies and procedures.
+ May operate forklift or other warehouse equipment to complete assigned tasks.
+ Collaborate with Warehousing team members to accomplish department and company goals, and attend warehouse meetings as needed.
+ Keep the warehouse organized (5s) and follow general practices to maintain workplace cleanliness.
+ May perform one or more warehouse operations functions within the operating guidelines of the department.
Your Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ At least 1 year of Warehouse, Logistics, or equivalent experience.
+ Basic experience in using inventory or warehouse management system. SAP experience is preferred.
+ Basic computer software skills including, MS Office.
+ Ability to complete assigned tasks within working hours and meet deadlines.
+ Ability to communicate potential issues to the manager and help develop potential solutions and improvements.
+ Strong attention to detail, quality conscious, and excellent organizational skills.
+ Ability to maintain accurate paperwork and execute good documentation practices.
+ Ability to be a good team member and work well with diverse groups & personalities.
+ Safety conscious and compliant with all health and safety regulations.
+ Have a valid Driver's License and the ability to operate company vehicles, including Box Truc
Physical Demands:
+ This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching during the workday. The employee may frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Regularly required to talk and hear, both in-person and over the phone. Working in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery and loud noise.

+ Stand Up Reach Trucks, Order Picker, Walkie Rider Pallet Jack, manual pallet jack and others.
