Warehouse Associate/Furniture Delivery Professional at Perlmutter-Freiwald, Inc.

As a warehouse associate/delivery professional for Perlmutter-Freiwald, Inc., you take pride in building relationships with our customers and serving as a strong representative of our company.

​Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-end home furnishings to the homes and businesses of our customers
• Prior to departing for deliveries, support merchandise quality and product staging as items are prepared for delivery
• Focus on careful handling of product, working safely, and attention to detail
• Create an exceptional delivery experience for our customers
• Cultivate positive relationships with customers, peers, and the design team
• Show empathy and sensitivity to the needs of customers and be respectful of their homes and businesses
• Inspect and monitor delivery vehicles
• Receive and inspect new merchandise as it arrives in the warehouse
• Assist in the cleaning and organization of both the warehouse and our design studio
• Occasional overnight travel

​Qualifications:

• Experienced in delivery driving and the ability to drive a 26-foot box truck
• Experienced in furniture moving with the ability to lift/carry heavy items (200lbs+) with the assistance of your delivery partner
• Team-player and effective communicator with experience in building relationships with customers, peers, and the broader team
• Athletic with core strength, agility, and stamina
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
• Clean driving record and Chauffeurs license
• Deadline-oriented
