We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, handling various tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing products. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player with strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining a well-organized and productive warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments, verifying accuracy of received products.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels by properly storing products in designated locations.
- Utilize warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, with attention to safety guidelines.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including aisle clearances and storage areas.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily operational goals.
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of damaged or expired products.
- Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address any issues or challenges.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar setting.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and orders.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
