Title: Warehouse Associate
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Schedule: Day Shift/ Monday - Thursday, 5AM - 3:30PM (10hrs, 4 days)

Summary: The Warehouse Associate plays a key role within the warehouse team at Innovize, a contract medical manufacturer. This position is responsible for assisting with basic material management activities including kitting materials, handling surplus and returned materials, and performing other general warehouse duties in support of production operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in material handling, inventory management, and timely communication to internal teams regarding material availability.
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support kitting activities by ensuring all materials are prepared for production two days before scheduled jobs. Communicate any shortages to the relevant parties.
- Manage surplus and returned materials, ensuring accurate restocking in both the warehouse and the ERP system.
- Perform cycle counts, maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy.
- Show readiness to learn and perform various warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling.
- Support team success by gaining skills in multiple areas and filling in as needed to ensure smooth, efficient warehouse operations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Accountabilities:
- Ensure accurate kitting and material availability, meeting production schedules.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and ERP system updates.
- Contribute to on-time delivery goals for customer orders.
- Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained and operational.
- Support the team in achieving warehouse productivity and quality goals.
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
- Meet or exceed attendance, quality, and personal development targets.
Training/Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with shipping/receiving and warehouse operations preferred.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers through verbal and electronic means (email/text as needed).
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Epicor experience a plus).
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Roll stock and inventory control experience a plus.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail with data entry and inventory tracking.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance).
- Team player with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset.

- Demonstrated success in maintaining inventory accuracy and resolving discrepancies effectively.
