We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join the team at Lexington Medical, a dynamic Medical Device start-up. You will manage and execute the receipt, storage, distribution and shipping of Lexington Medical products.
This is a full-time temporary position with potential to convert to full-time employee.
The hours for this position are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
What you will do:
- Pick parts for production orders.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Maintain first in, first out (FIFO) of both raw materials and finished goods.
- Receive deliveries, accurately count contents and enter data into MRP system.
- Document damaged shipments and quantity discrepancies.
- Deliver received parts to proper storage locations.
- Pull devices from finished goods to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack customer orders carefully to prevent damage during shipping.
- Prepare shipping documentation (UPS, FedEx, DHL, freight).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist in other departments as necessary.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to manipulate small parts.
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, lift, carry.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
Requirements:
- Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2+ years of warehouse experience is preferred
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail is imperative.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic mathematics and computer skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Well organized.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize varying demands for time.
- Medical device or other regulated industry experience is a plus.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment is a plus.
- Cleanroom experience is a plus.
