Warehouse Associate/ Backup Driver - Guitar Center

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

Essential Functions (not all-inclusive):

* Locate and transfer product for sales orders that generate daily; match physical product with description on sales order

* Process and sort serialized product

* Assist with quality control maintenance of rental product

* Prepare product for shipping utilizing company standards

* Load and unload vehicle, sometimes taking or removing items from rolling cart

* Move product to a different location in a facility or help pack carts to load

* Drive a company provided vehicle between locations to deliver company owned product while following all traffic regulations. (Serve as backup, driving on as-needed basis.)

* Additional duties as assigned.

To join our band, you'll need the following experience:

* High School Diploma or GED (required)

* 6 months of warehouse experience (preferred)

* 1 year delivery driving experience (preferred)

* Basic understanding of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

* Ability to understand warehouse locations and locate product, use RF scanner

* Attention to detail is a must

* Able to quickly identify errors and retain the knowledge of how to correct them

* Ability to thrive under deadline based assignments

* Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds

* Ability to stand up for long periods of time

* Must be able to walk up to 2 miles during the course of the work day

* Must be able to perform repetitive motions for long periods of time

* Must be able to safely climb and work on ladders

Pay Rate: $17.50-19.00/hr depending on background and experience.
