About the Job
Reporting to the Raw Materials Manager, the Warehouse Administrative Specialist will be responsible for tracking and providing daily, weekly, and monthly reports showing department metrics. This role will require the candidate to communicate effectively amongst other team members regarding daily tasks as well as the ability to multitask. Being persistent to detailed written and verbal communications/documentation is extremely looked upon.

- Scheduling delivery appointments.
- Work from our Neptune office when needed.
- Process payroll for temporary employees.
- Create and implement standard operating procedures to properly complete a job function.
- Coordinate handoff and action plans with the previous and following shift.
- Communicate, and work with multiple partners within the manufacturing, customer service, accounting, and other areas.
- Monitor releases, scheduling, arranging, and dispatching transportation and ensuring that proper documentation is supplied.
- Taking proper steps to ensure shipments meet all required regulations and compliance of all AIB requirements.
- Compile various statistics and reports on work progress.
- Verify and maintain documentation/records on incoming and outgoing shipments and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate required “pick lists” and distribute to material handlers for order fulfillment.
- Perform data entry functions.
- File tariff supplements, update mileage, and rate files in the computer system.
- Other duties to ensure customer requirements are met.
IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:
- High School education or GED (an Associate’s Degree in Transportation or logistics preferred).
- 3+ years of warehousing experience.
- Working knowledge of the certification and traceability requirements for products received, stocked, and shipped.
- Knowledge of Shipping Receiving/Warehouse/Transportation computer system(s) combined with solid spreadsheet and basic word processing.
- Prior experience generating necessary documentation to include, but not limited to - pick lists, bill of lading, manifests, inventory, cycle counts, etc. for transportation.
- Must have excellent communication proficiency including written, oral, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to work within a team.
- Working knowledge of data analysis, inventory controls, and warehousing procedures.
- Working knowledge of Spanish preferred.
