Basil Volkswagen has an immediate need for a Diesel Tech. 

*Our shop has the highest paid Techs in the area - we will negotiate based on experience*

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work, specializing in DIESEL TECHNOLOGY, to meet dealership and factory standards
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems and provide estimates for additional automotive repairs 
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all aspects of vehicles, including the tools and equipment for maintenance and repair 
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customer

Qualifications: 

• Diesel experience
• Proficient with repair shop equipment
• Tools
• Valid NYS driver’s license
• Effective oral and written skills
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications preferred but required
