The family includes the mother, father, and 6-children, from 6-years-old to a newborn. They have 2-cats and 1-little dog. Other staff includes a full-time nanny, a part-time nanny, and a housekeeping service.
This person must have several years of experience as a house/estate manager. The family really need someone who can take the lead in managing all aspects of the home and of the property. The house manager will be responsible for hiring and managing multiple staff and may also occasionally help with taking some of the kids to/from school/activities. This person should also do regular walkabouts inside and outside the home to assure no work or repairs are needed, and that everything is working smoothly.
To be successful in this role, the house manager must be a self-starter, proactive, take initiative and take the lead when something is not working or needs repair, be attentive, have extreme attention to detail, be tech savvy, and always be professional. They do prefer someone on the quieter side.
Hours will ideally be Monday through Friday, business hours, with flexibility to stay late and work occasional weekends as needed. The family is offering a monthly medical stipend, PTO, paid sick/personal days, main federal holidays paid, and a discretionary yearly bonus.
The house manager must have their U.S. Birth Certificate, valid U.S. Passport, or valid Permanent Resident Card (Green Card).
